Simplified chord chart for YOU NEEDED ME - - in the style of Anne Murray (karaoke of Pinoy Videoke Tambayan), in A at 62 BPM: 11 chords instead of 16, and 50 changes instead of 53. Sevenths became triads (A, Am, B, Bm, C#, C#m, D, E and others), which cuts down the shapes you have to learn. Good for playing along all the way through without stalling on a change.
In this version the sevenths were reduced to triads, and 3 changes too short for the hand to follow were merged. A diminished chord appears as minor — that is a substitution, not an equivalence: it sounds close when you are playing along, but it is not the same chord. For the harmony as it is, use the full version.
