Mariah Carey - Don't Forget About Us
Simplified chord chart for Mariah Carey - Don't Forget About Us (karaoke of Karaoke Tracks Planet), in A# at 144 BPM: 8 chords instead of 13, and 68 changes instead of 96. Sevenths became triads (A#, C, D, D#, Dm, E, F, Gm), which cuts down the shapes you have to learn. Good for playing along all the way through without stalling on a change.
In this version the sevenths were reduced to triads, and 28 changes too short for the hand to follow were merged. A diminished chord appears as minor — that is a substitution, not an equivalence: it sounds close when you are playing along, but it is not the same chord. For the harmony as it is, use the full version.
The chart has been transposed, but the video stays in the original key. The player is an iframe from another domain, and the YouTube API only exposes playback speed, which would shift key and tempo together. Use transposition to fit the singer's voice while playing without the video, or go back to the original key to play along.
