Helena - My Chemical Romance

Simplified chord chart for Helena - My Chemical Romance (karaoke of Karaoke Piano), in E at 60 BPM: 12 chords instead of 18, and 69 changes instead of 69. Sevenths became triads (A, B, Bm, C, C#m, Cm, D#m, E and others), which cuts down the shapes you have to learn. Good for playing along all the way through without stalling on a change.

In this version the sevenths were reduced to triads, but no change was merged: in this song the chords already last long enough, so the number of changes is the same. A diminished chord appears as minor — that is a substitution, not an equivalence: it sounds close when you are playing along, but it is not the same chord. For the harmony as it is, use the full version.

The chart has been transposed, but the video stays in the original key. The player is an iframe from another domain, and the YouTube API only exposes playback speed, which would shift key and tempo together. Use transposition to fit the singer's voice while playing without the video, or go back to the original key to play along.
